Privacy Policy

ScreenShepherd helps people build healthier phone habits. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

What we collect

We may collect app settings, onboarding answers, purchase status, notification preferences, support messages, and basic device or usage information needed to run and support the app.

Screen Time permissions

If you choose to use blocking features, Apple may ask you to approve Screen Time permissions. Those permissions let ScreenShepherd help block selected apps or websites. We do not use those permissions to sell your data.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, we may send reading reminders and blocking-related prompts. You can turn notifications off in iOS Settings.

Purchases

Purchases are handled through Apple. We may store purchase status so the app knows whether you have an active weekly plan or lifetime access. We do not receive your full payment details.

Support

If you contact us, we may keep your message and email address so we can reply and fix issues.

Children and families

ScreenShepherd is not meant to collect personal information from children without appropriate permission. If you believe a child shared personal information with us, contact us and we will help remove it.

Your choices

You can change notification access, Screen Time access, and subscriptions through iOS Settings and your Apple account purchase controls. You can also contact us to ask about your data.
